1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using DiscoverZim website and mobile applications, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement.

2. User Accounts

When you create an account with us, you must provide accurate and complete information. You are solely responsible for the activity that occurs on your account.

3. Booking and Payments

All bookings made through our platform are subject to availability and confirmation. Payments are processed securely through our authorized payment partners.

4. Cancellation Policy

Cancellation policies vary by service provider. Please review the specific terms for each booking carefully before confirming your reservation.

5. Store Orders & Payments

DiscoverZim lets registered stores sell goods and services and lets you place orders against them. Orders may be fulfilled by pickup, delivery, or a digital voucher. You need a DiscoverZim account to place an order online. A store may also create an order for you in person; you then receive a tracking number by email, and you can link that order to your account by verifying the same email address.

For online payments, including bookings and tickets, DiscoverZim holds your payment in escrow and releases it to the store or venue after your order is fulfilled or your visit or event has happened. Cash-on-delivery orders are settled directly between you and the store — DiscoverZim is not involved in those funds. Payment-gateway and withdrawal fees may apply to stores and are described in our store terms.

6. Refunds & Reversals

Refunds (which you request) and reversals (which a store or venue offers) require a reason and the other party's acceptance before any money moves; if a request goes unanswered for 7 days, DiscoverZim decides it. This applies to paid bookings and tickets as well as store orders. Approved amounts are returned from the payment DiscoverZim holds; if the venue has already been paid out, it is recovered from their next payout. A refund may cover a whole order or specific items. If a store cancels an order you paid for, or you cancel before it starts, you are refunded automatically.

7. Delivery & Vouchers

Where an order is delivered, delivery is arranged and performed by the store, not by DiscoverZim. Digital vouchers are redeemed by the store at the point of collection; once redeemed, a voucher cannot be reused.
